Now that you are a teen, it is almost
like you have to ask yourself, Okay, what next? There
are so many body changes to deal with, from zits and sprouts
of body hair, to body odor and noticeable perspiration, it seems
like something new creeps up each day; and we wont even
talk about the boyfriend or girlfriend! |

In many sweaty situations,
its not unusual to feel embarrassed, stressed out and less
confident, and theres a reason why you might worry about
noticeable perspiration you worry what others will think.
Here, the sweat experts at Mon Ray® offer some tips to help
you stay dry in the sweatiest of situations and other advice
to deal with all the change:
Dress
the Part Wearing light-weight clothes made from natural
fibers, such as cotton, can help absorb perspiration, but be
aware of the colors and patterns on shirts as well, since solid,
light colors may show more sweat marks under the arms. Use
Mon Ray® at night before bedtime to keep sweat in check.
Shower
Daily A daily shower will keep skin clean and will
help eliminate body odor, since body odor is usually a result
of bacteria left on the skin. Remember, it is the bacteria that
causes the odor, not the perspiration. Washing skin gently with
warm water and soap twice a day will also help remove oils that
can clog pores, aggravating or causing acne on the face, back,
neck or chest. If you apply Mon Ray® at night, it will not
wash off when you shower in the morning.
Face
It If you take a shower each morning, you should also
be washing your face every night before going to bed. Oil-based
makeup and alcohol-based hair products can cause acne to appear
on the face and around the hairline. If you think your acne is
a problem and over-the-counter products arent working,
ask your parent or an adult you can trust to take you to see
a dermatologist. Various, highly effective medications
can be prescribed to help clear up acne.
Health
Is Number One Body image is very important to you!
However, the main focus should be maintaining overall great health,
including maintaining a healthy body weight and eating a balanced
diet for your lifestyle: less calories if you are less active,
more if you are active and take part in a lot of sports. Being
overweight can also lead to increased perspiration.
